[14] Jujutsu Kaisen Villains Ranked (2023)

The hit manga and anime Jujutsu Kaisen includes some of the best villains in anime history. With their complex storylines, interesting powers and abilities, and creative designs, these villains are fantastic to watch! Hoping to see our ranking of the best villains in JJK? Look below to dive in!

#13 – Junpei Yoshino

Many might forget about the young Junpei. Junpei’s decent into a villain at the hands of Mahito is sad in many ways, but its also pretty scary. Humans in this world have just as much disdain for each other as the Cursed Spirits do for them. Villains can be created easily through our own actions, and Itadori gets a first hand look at this through Junpei. Although not incredibly strong, his story acts an example of what human beings are capable of.

#12 – Yoshinobu Gakuganji

Now this is a strange one. While Yoshinobu Gakuganji isn’t quite an outright villain, his role as the school principal and his calling for Itadori’s death leads us to believe this guy isn’t quite right. Pair that with his age, we can make the assumption that Gakuganji understands and has a lot of experience with Cursed Techniques.

#11 – The Special Grade Finger-Bearer

The Special Grade Finger-Bearer’s have one of the scariest character designs of the entire show, in my opinion. With their beady little eyes and their passion for pain, Finger-Bearer’s are an incredibly cruel and intelligent time of Special Grade Curse. From their first appearance in the show, they make it known that they are here to cause pain. Immediately, their first action during when they meet Yuji and Megumi is to cut off Yugi’s hand!

#10 – Eso & Kechizu– Death Painting Siblings

The Death Painting Siblings are definitely a force to be reckoned with. While Choso is also part of this group, his innate strength is far beyond the strength of these two, and therefore had to be placed higher on the list. Eso and Kechizu’s Decay and Rot techniques can really immediately take a sorcerer out. Eso and Kechizu are both killed, Kechizu by Nobara and Eso by Yuji.

#9 – Choso

Choso is definitely the strongest of the Death Painting Wombs, having a considerable amount of cursed spirit energy. His strength and intelligence is higher than his two siblings, and his ability to convert his cursed energy into blood makes taking damage awfully difficult.

#8 – Hanami

Hanami’s cursed spirit grew from the fear of earth-related disasters, such as earthquakes. Hanami is also one of the most peaceful of the cursed spirits, hoping that they can sacrifice humans so that the earth can be taken care of as it should be. However, Hanami does not hold onto this idea long, as Mahito convinces the giant to enjoy the thrill of the fight. Hanami’s overall skill level is below the other cursed spirits, but when he does begin to through himself into the fight he can damage anyone in his way.

#7 – Mahito

Villains with a calm attitude always seem scarier for some reason… and the same can be said for Mahito. As the leader of their special grade cursed spirit group, Mahito believes in the end of all human civilizations, and the eventual rule of the cursed spirits. Mahito’s skill level is less than Jogo’s, mostly due to the fact that he’s younger and less experienced. However, Mahito’s extreme durability, calm demeanor, and high intelligence make him an incredible opponent.

#6 – Dagon

Dagon’s cursed energy feeds off of water-based fears and fears of any wáter-based disasters. He can bring massive amounts of water to a battle, seemingly with no source. Once Dagon transformed from his cursed womb state into his fully grown evolution, his power grew immensely. From becoming more intelligent, to having a generally stronger physique with a more imposing body, Dagon’s overall attack power grew with the evolution. Dagon has to be right below Jogo with these increased abilities.

#5 – Jogo

As a special grade cursed spirit, Jogo’s power levels are higher than most other cursed spirits. The mere thought of fire can set non-sorcerers ablaze as soon as Jogo walks into the room! Even our number 1, the King of Curses, Sukuna acknowledged Jogo’s power.

#4 – Toji Fushiguro

The Sorcerer Killer, while maybe one of the most sympathetic of our villains, ranks high on this list for his overall strength and intelligence. Toji’s heavenly-restriction gave him superhuman strength and heightened senses, which allows him to be a fantastic fighter and bounty hunter. Toji is also one of the best weapon experts, able to wield multiple different weapons perfectly.

#3 – Hajime Kashimo

A centuries old sorcerer, Hajime was recruited by Kenjaku, and is said to be one of the greatest sorcerers of all time. Who knows what he’ll be capable of in the future of the anime, but we’re confident in our decision to put him here.

#2 – Suguru Geto

As a student, Seguru was considered one of the strongest of the class, tied up with Satoru. He was also considered one of the strongest curse users, but he was labelled as one of the worst due to the extreme amount of danger he presented humanity. Geto’s abilities cannot be forgotten, especially since he is considered to be Gojo’s strongest opponent and his rival.

#1 (tie) – Ryomen Sukuna

Sukuna, the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer from his time, is definitely the strongest of our group of characters as well. This King of Curses is able to pack quite the punch, even when he isnt controlling someone’s body. Sakuna also contains an immeasurable amount of Cursed Energy, allowing him to continue on with the fight without getting exhausted. He’s definitely one of our strongest sorcerers, and we’re not sure anyone can out-rank him!

#1 (tie) – Kenjaku

Probably the main antagonist of the entire show/manga, Kenjaku is a curse user who has been able to transfer his brain into different host bodies and continue living on. Kenjaku currently resides within the body of Suguru Geto, known now as Pseudo-Geto. Over the last 1000 years, Kenjaku has used his sorcerer abilities to take over different bodies and manipulate different people. During these conquests, Kenjaku has even manipulated governments to do what he wanted. Kenjaku’s current state is incredibly dangerous, and we don’t know how he’ll be defeated!
