See the First Photo of Paul Reubens in Gotham as the Penguin’s Father (Again)

In 1992, actor Paul Reubens portrayed the father of Batman villain the Penguin in Batman Returns. Well, he’s baaaaack!

It was revealed in October that Reubens would be joining the cast of Gotham as, once again, the senior Cobblepot.

No one knew, however, when we would get to see him. Until now. Check it out!

Okay, so technically we still don’t know when it will be exactly, but at least we know he’s filming, and it will be this season. Season 2 has been dubbed “Rise of the Villains,” after all.

Last we saw of the Penguin, he was shattered over his mother’s death and forming an alliance with Cory Michael Smith’s Edward Nygma aka the Riddler. How will the Penguin’s father play into things? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Other new villains to debut in the second half of the season include Mr. Freeze (who we initially met in the midseason finale), Mad Hatter, Clayface, and Hugo Strange.

Gotham returns on February 29 on FOX.

Are you excited to see Paul Reubens as Penguin’s father again? How do you think he looks?
