Weddings with a Harry Potter theme are nothing new, but they are always magical. And this one for couple Cassie and Lewis Byrom was out-of-this-world magical. Like I’m pretty sure muggles probably couldn’t have even gotten in it was so magical.
Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself!
I mean, first off, the location of the reception:
It’s The Midland hotel in Manchester and it basically looks like Hogwarts so already I’m like, “Why don’t I know how to apparate?!”
This is just ridiculous, it really is. Riddikulusly awesome. (See what I did there?)
Unsurprisingly, if the location was this amazing, then the rest of the reception was totally Mad-Eye Moody bonkers incredible.
Just look at this cake!
That is absolutely Cassie and Lewis as Voldemort and Bellatrix LEGO figures. Guess we know where their allegiances lie, which gives me pause for their, uh, future.
Just kidding! I’m sure they’re lovely and they deserve all the happiness in the world.
The decor was the stuff of dreams – just imagine Rita Skeeter’s article on it all.
Of course, the bridge and groom also got to give themselves magical touches, including House-themed high heels and a bouquet made of repurposed Harry Potter pages.
The groom had cufflinks that read: “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” and “Mischief Managed!”
And don’t worry, the guests didn’t go home empty-handed; the couple made 130 handmade wands for their guests.
Congrats on your nuptials – and for the most amazing wedding both the wizarding and muggle worlds have ever seen!
