Jam to Powerline When You Watch the Real Life Goofy Movie Concert

If you’re like me, you grew up on Disney’s classic animated film, A Goofy Movie.

And one of the most memorable aspects of that movie is, of course, the music.

So when YouTuber Stuart Edge put on a real life Goofy Movie concert, I was all eyes and ears. Once I saw the video, I was definitely not disappointed.

Just try and tell me you don’t get chills as soon as those familiar, upbeat notes from Stand Out start playing! And then the curtain drops to reveal a huge stage and dancers and our protagonist, Max Goof.

So not only does this awesome video have great performances of these classic songs, but also the characters Powerline, Max, Roxanne, and even Bobby (complete with the leaning tower of cheesa).

The Disney Blog interviewed Edge about the video and the inspiration behind it: “I was inspired to make the video because of how big of a fan I am of the movie. The music in the Goofy Movie is one of the best original soundtracks ever.”

Can’t fault him there.

He also said that the biggest challenge for this video “was figuring out how we wanted to do the concert. Did we want to to a love impromptu show? A mini concert in a venue? A small pop up show? An exact replica in a school auditorium. We debated for Almost a year on what we would do, and in the end, we decided that a ‘Surprise Goofy Movie Concert’ would be the best.”

Sounds like a pretty awesome surprise concert.

What do you think of this real life Goofy Movie concert? Do you love the music of Powerline too? Sound off in the comments!
