Marvel fans, are you ready?
When we learned that Adrianne Palicki would be joining the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we were excited beyond belief. What better way to kick off the new season than by bringing in Mockingbird?
Before Mockingbird can join the fray, Adrianne Palicki has to grace the screen as Bobbi Morse. Courtesy of ABC and Entertainment Weekly, here’s your first look at Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse. Morse is the head of Hydra Security and, as we all know, the future Mockingbird. But as a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, will she help or hinder Agent Coulson?
Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s head of television, stated that Palicki’s performance “feels so much like part of our cast that you don’t even remember when there wasn’t Bobbi Morse on the show.”
The Mockingbird character was created by Gerry Conway and Barry Smith in 1971. In the comics, she is injected with an experimental serum and becomes romantically involved with Hawkeye.
Catch Palicki in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on October 21, when she guest stars as Bobbi Morse in “A Hen in the Wolf House.” Whether she’s a hen or a wolf is yet to be discovered, so tune in to find out! The new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays on ABC.
