The Flash Season 1 Finale Can’t Get Here Fast Enough

Tomorrow’s the night. It’s the Season 1 finale for The Flash. We are so ready but after watching the extended trailer for the finale, which you can watch below, we’re also not ready at all.

At the end of last week’s episode, Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Grant Gustin), with the help of the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and Firestorm a.k.a. Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), took down Eobard Thawne a.k.a. the Reverse Flash (Tom Cavangh).

While that seems like a clean ending, this is The Flash, so you can be sure things won’t be that easy.

In the trailer, we see Eobard in the one of the cells in the pipeline as Barry confronts him. The trailer builds up to the big event of the finale – Barry going back in time to save his mother – and what will probably give us a cliffhanger to fret over during the course of summer.

However, as Barry’s father says about going back in time: “At what cost?”

That’s going to be the question hanging over the audience and characters’ heads tomorrow night. Will Barry alter the timeline completely and give us a whole new universe to play with in Season 2? Are we going to lose any major characters?

Emotions are high throughout the trailer. Some choice scenes include Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Ronnie getting married, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) telling Barry he has to change the past, Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) standing in the middle of Central City with a tornado coming towards them, and Cisco saying “he’s being erased from existence” over a shot of The Flash seemingly out of control.

Seriously, how are we going to cope?

The Flash Season 1 finale, “Fast Enough”, airs tomorrow night on The CW at 8 PM.
