Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes the wedding of Jennifer and Joshua – and it was very strong with the Force. The Star Wars wedding was elegant, classy, and definitely geek-chic.
The bride wanted the wedding based on George Lucas’ films. She told HuffPost Weddings: “My husband and I decided that if we kept the ‘Star Wars’ details more subtle, it’d be a fun and whimsical way to show my love for that galaxy far, far, away.”
The two were escorted by Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion to the wedding, and there were a lot of other fun touches as well.
The bride made this Stromtrooper inspired belt for her dress herself!
They went a little more all-out for the reception. According to Jennifer: “We decided to let loose and have lightsabers for all and an appearance from the Darth Father of the Bride!”
