Mike Mignola’s First Hellboy Design Becomes Gorgeous Statue

First Hellboy Statue

Your favorite well-meaning demon goes back to his origins with the Hellboy The First Hellboy 12-Inch Statue from Mondo!

Summoned from the depths of Hell on December 23, 1944, this original character by writer-artist Mike Mignola has become a fan-favorite over the years, even spawning two feature films.

Mike Mignolia Hellboy Design Tough but lovable, his red appearance can be intimidating to some but he truly possesses plenty of humor and heart. This statue captures more of the former and is based on Mignola’s first design.

The statue, made of polystone and painted beautifully by Mike Najera (with the color scheme by Dave Stewart), really brings to life all the details from Hellboy’s original inception, from his wings to the vulture perched on his shoulder.

Fans should appreciate how gorgeous the piece is and how much thought went into it. He comes complete with a belt that shows his name and carries many accessories like a sword, pistol, fish, skull, and crab.

Perched on a rock, Hellboy carries a weapon that’s something between a flail and a morning star, always ready to head into battle.

Now’s a hell of a time to pay tribute to this fantastic character. The statue is currently available with free shipping at Entertainment Earth.
