Looking at a side by side comparison of KEI’s illustration and Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary 1:7 Scale Statue, I was impressed with how close in detail they are. Miku is standing on one leg with arms extended surrounded by her larger than life twin-tails. Included within her flowing hair are nicely placed strands of multicolored ribbons, which play nicely into her overall color scheme. Most notably are the rainbow accents of her outfit and that iconic ribbon taken straight from KEI’s illustration. All of these details bring this digital idol to life in a big way.
My favorite part of her outfit are these specific details that are tied together with that massive ribbon base that frames her flirty pose. Her boots, skirt and arm coverings are a black transparent color with speckles of white and splashes of her recognizable teal coloring. Coupling this with the rainbow colors on the edges of her skirt, her flowing belt and that massive ribbon behind her really makes this figure pop.
