New Image of Justice League Team Ready For Action

The new year has begun and that means the countdown for the premiere of Justice League has also begun! The first time we’ll see our favorite DC Comics characters working together in a live action capacity will be November 17 and we do have Wonder Woman in June to tide us over as well. However, we want our Super Friends and we want them now!

Warner Bros. and DC must know we’re excited because they released a brand new image of the team standing in what’s being called the Flying Fox, which is a plane that the team will call their headquarters and main mode of transportation for the film. In the picture we see Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). We don’t see Superman (Henry Cavill) but that’s because as far as we know, he’s dead… For now.

The plot of the movie is described by the studio as the following:

“Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfeless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Does this new image make you more excited for this movie? What are you hoping to see in the film? Why oh why, is the Green Lantern not in this movie?! (Sorry, still upsets me that he’s not a core member to begin with.) Let’s talk about it in the comments below!
