Batman Reimagined as a Robot Comes to Life as an Action Figure!

ThreeA DC Steel Age Batman Night Action Figure

If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent way too much time wondering what it would be like if Batman were a robot. Okay, you might not be like me, but you’ve got to admit that a robotic Batman would really rock. Even if you’ve never wondered what it would be like, ThreeA’s new DC Steel Age Batman Night 1:6 Scale Action figure does the imagining for you, and the result is fantastic.

The darkness of this Dark Knight are both literal and figurative. Designed by artist Ashley Wood, the Caped Crusader is a menacing figure. Exploring a world where heroes have been replaced with robotic counterparts, ThreeA has created a line of figures that are unique and beautiful. This version of Batman is called Night, featuring  a deep black costume. The details on this figure are what are really impressive—the weathered paint shows some of the damage that this robot has endured, and the armor is segmented at parts of the body that require flexibility. It even features LED light-up eyes!

A figure as detailed and exact as this is rare, and it isn’t cheap. Standing at over 13-inches tall, this action figure has a more than impressive 50 points of articulation, 2 batarangs, and sports a tailored, faux-leather outfit. This figure is severely articulate and absolutely impressive. A figure as interesting and detailed as this don’t come along every day, and they aren’t cheap.
