With each new teaser, the excitement for the Ghostbusters reboot grows. It’s looking more and more like the movie will be its own thing rather than a strict rehash of the original – this latest featurette is chock full of new footage on par with the tone of the second full trailer.
We also get a better look at the new ECTO-1, and it looks awesome. Really digging the nifty spook hood ornament, and the fact that this Ghostmobile obviously started life as a hearse. And with fun touches like the WARNING: PARTS MAY FALL OFF sign, it’s still cheeky and silly.
Plus, we get our first sampling of the new theme, from Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliot. Considering I’ve spent half my life stanning FOB, I, naturally, am pumped.
Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig and starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth, Cecily Strong, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Andy Garcia, is set to hit theaters on July 22, 2016.
