It was announced in February that Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would receive an extended, R-rated cut. Now we have the trailer for this new edition, as well as all the Blu-Ray features for the film.
I’ve had my share of Batman v Superman already, but for fans, this extended cut should be exciting, as there’s plenty of new footage revealed in the trailer.
Hey, look, Jena Malone!
The actress was the subject of plenty of rumors before the film was released, mostly regarding her playing Robin or Batgirl, but this brief clip of her, at the :46 mark, seems to indicate neither character. Rather, it looks like she’s in Metropolis and working with Lois Lane (Amy Adams).

That will be revealed when the DVD/Blu-Ray and extended cuts come out, along with these features:

In theaters, Batman v Superman grossed a somewhat disappointing $870 million globally, so it’s likely Warner Bros. is looking to make up for that performance with these sales.
Both the theatrical and Ultimate Edition extended cuts will be released on Digital HD on June 28, and on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 19.
