Who’s excited for Pokémon’s 20th Anniversary?!
There have already been so many exciting announcements, including Pokémon Go and the re-release of the original card set, but that was only the beginning.
Nintendo released a video yesterday announcing several things they’re planning this year and clearly we’re in for a good time:
They’re especially emphasizing mythical Pokémon, releasing them monthly starting in February, as well as mythical Pokémon collections for the trading card game.
Plus they’ll be digitally remastering and re-releasing all the movies and there’s going to be really cool merch like a Nendoroid figure of Pokémon trainer Red and special 20th Anniversary products featuring the new, special logo.
And last but not least, brand new games!
It’s certainly a good year to be a Pokémon fan. You can use the hashtag #Pokemon20 on social media to celebrate this year and share your favorite memories from the franchise.
