If you’re like me, you grew up with the Toy Story trilogy, arguably Pixar’s most well-known films.
So when you hear that a group of friends at The Pixarist made a full-scale replica of Andy’s room, you’ll understandably be as amazed and excited as I was. Seriously, this is incredible!
According to their original post, the room took two years to fully recreate.
What’s the story behind the room? Clearly they’re big fans, but it goes beyond that. The group’s working on a live-action Toy Story 3 project!
They put a lot of detail into the room, as can be seen by the pictures below.
“A lot of time was spent on Andy’s desk,” one of the friends explain. “Before we renovated it, it was an old, broken brown desk. It was really awesome fixing it up for our remake though because it used to belong to my grandmother.”
The friends “enjoyed every single minute” of the project and it clearly paid off! We can’t wait to see the final project. Check out their Facebook for updates and more information.
