New York Comic Con concluded yesterday and one of the things everyone’s talking about is not all the news that hit, but a truly epic cosplay: a 9 1/2-foot tall Hulkbuster from Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The video give stats of the cosplay, like the fact that it weighs 95 lbs and takes DePetrillo 20 minutes to suit up. Not to mention the fact that it took 1600 hours to construct! It also has light-up functions, which you can check out on the Facebook page.
Now that’s what I call dedication and hard work.
Launched from Veronika, Hulkbuster is Tony Stark’s 44th suit of armor, made with the help of Bruce Banner to face off against the Hulk if need be.
I may not have been at NYCC, but I can imagine seeing Hulkbuster casually stroll down the convention center would have been jaw-dropping.
A lot happened at the convention this weekend, but this is by far one of the coolest.
Did you attend NYCC and if so, did you see the Hulkbuster cosplay? Tell us some tales from the convention in the comments below!
