The gloves come off in the new Mike Tyson Mysteries trailer, which Adult Swim debuted at San Diego Comic-Con in front of a packed crowd. Tyson’s popularity gives way to this exciting new series, as well as to his own Mike Tyson action figure by Bif Bang Pow!
The raunchy comedy Mike Tyson Mysteries is reminiscent of 60’s-70’s animation and captures the feel of classic children’s shows like Scooby Doo or Johnny Quest – yet the humor is very much adult. The 30-minute series involves Mike Tyson (voiced by none other than the heavyweight champ himself!) solving mysteries with his gang, “The Mike Tyson Mystery Team,” which includes the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury, Mike’s adopted Korean daughter, and a pigeon that was once a man. The series incorporates live-action appearances from Mike himself, and features the talents of voice actors Norm Macdonald (Saturday Night Live), Rachel Ramras (MAD), and Jim Rash (Community, The Way Way Back).
